On Tuesday 4th June, 2019 Akwasiho Presby JHS emerged victorious in a "Spelling Bee" competition held at Akwasiho Roman Catholic church.
Four schools in the Akwasiho circuit participated in the competition.
Akwasiho Presby JHS came first with 44 points followed by Akwasiho R/C JHS in second position with 29 points.
Aduhima D/A JHS were third with 28 points creating room for Suminakese D/A JHS to occupy the fourth position with 15 points.
The Circuit supervisor, Mr. Bismark Kankam Boadu advised all participants to improve their performance in academic work as well as all other students in the circuit.
Akwasiho Presby JHS prepares to meet other champions from the remaining six circuit in the Kwahu East District on Friday 7th June, 2019 at Abetifi community library complex.
Antwi Ernest (JHS 2), Tenkoranmaa Maria (JHS 2) and Boadu Juana (JHS 1) participated for Akwasiho Presby JHS.
The quiz master for the competition was Mr. Opoku Andrews, headteacher of Suminakese D/A primary school.
